For Great Auntie Nicki...

Lovely Great Aunt Nicki always makes the most beautiful cards using pressed flowers - a technique so beautifully suited to the tiny garden flowers of England - pansies, freesias, lavender and primrose to name a few.

So with Great Aunt's birthday on the horizon I remembered a technique from Sue Dean using the butterfly punch and water colours and I CASEd a layout from Kerry 'Pickle'.

Quite pretty.  Quite happy.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, watercolour paper, Old Olive
Ink: Real Real, Certainly Celery
Other: Basic Grey brad, SU bird punch

  1. This is a beautiful card and I love the fact that you are giving your flower centre stage on all the white space. I have a butterfly punch, I wonder whether I might be able to come up with something as pretty as this.
